About Us
Ron & Kay Lonneman founded Ron's Equipment Company in December of 1985. Ron and Kay were both raised on the farm with farm equipment backgrounds. We have made our home in Fort Collins, Colorado for the past 30+ years, dedicating most of our time to building their equipment dealership and supporting the community.
Meet Our Staff
The Man! The Myth! The Legend! Grew up farming in the northwest corner of Iowa. Ventured Colorado way when he was 18 to marry his high school sweetheart and open Ron’s Equipment. Still here to greet you!
A Minnesota boy who attended Wyo. Tech after high school. Came to CO after completing his ASE Master Cert. A mechanic for several Ft. Collins car dealerships, he came Ron’s in 2013. He married his wife, Christian, in 2015.
Born and raised in Kersey, then attended NJC where he received his associate in production agriculture. He has an extensive background in farm and ranch work, and landed at Ron’s in 2016.
A Fort Collins native who graduated from CSU in 2018 with a bachelor’s in Forest Management. Sam began working here on April 1, 2019, and that’s no joke.
Born in S. Dakota, lived in Kansas, moved to CO in 1981. Married to his 6th grade sweetheart, Dee, with two children and now one grandson. An agricultural diesel mechanic all his life, he’s our Service Manager since 1996.
A Littleton native who attended Denver Auto and Diesel. After 6 years as an Army diesel mechanic, he worked various diesel mechanic jobs before joining Ron’s in June, 2019.
A Florida boy who moved to Colorado at 15. Attended the Front Range Community College for automotive. He’s been with Ron’s since 1999. Wes married his wife Jessie in 2003 and they have three kiddos now.
Moved to CO. from his native New Orleans at 15. After high school he joined the Marines as a Diesel Mechanic and Machine Gunner. He worked for Ron’s in 2010-2011, then left for an overseas job. Sean returned in April, 2019.
After a small farm childhood in Minnesota, Bill moved to Colorado at 19. He and his wife Doreen have been married since 1984. Together they have four children and one grandbaby. Bill joined Ron’s in March, 2007.
A native of Cuba who was raised in New York and moved to Colorado in 2006. She’s held numerous administrative positions and has a very diverse work background. She worked for Ron’s in 2017 and returned February, 2019.
Was raised IN Ron’s Equipment. Left Ron’s to get her Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing. After a decade as corporate retail manager for several retailers, she returned to Ron’s in January, 2019.
