JCB Telehandlers for Colorado and Wyoming
JCB Telehandlers and Telescopic Handlers for Colorado and Wyoming
A telehandler is sometimes also called a telescopic handler, a telescopic forklift or a telehandler forklift. (Some folks call it an ag telehandler, too.) Whatever you choose to call it, in Colorado and Wyoming the JCB telehander is widely used in agriculture and industry.
There are numerous uses for these machines, so we carry a number of different models in different sizes, suited for various jobs.
The JCB telehandler is generally used like a forklift, but the boom, or telescopic cylinder, actually works like a crane, extending forwards or backwards, up and away from the vehicle. That's why it's also called an articulated telehandler. However, it’s not just a forklift, because end of the boom can be fitted with various attachments, including buckets, pallet forks, muck grabbers or winches.
The most common attachment for a telehandler in construction and industry is pallet fork. It’s used to move loads that a conventional forklift couldn’t reach and that would demand a crane.
In agriculture, the most common attachment for telehandlers is a bucket, used to move loads to and from high places that would otherwise require cranes or other equipment.
