JCB Skid Steers
Considered the safest and most innovative skid steers on the market, JCB skid steers are lauded for their PowerBoom design -- a single boom arm on the right side of the machine. This innovation allows operators to safely enter and exit the machine from the left side. There's no clambering over front-mounted work tools. Visibility from the cab is noticeably better. They offer the same design on the compact loader, too.
And there's no need to think the machine isn't as strong as the two-arm design. In fact, the single-boom machine has up to 20% more weight than a conventional machine, so its strength is greater. Plus, the single arm reduces cycle time, too.
JCB Teleskid
This is another industry first! The single arm skid steer was so popular that JCB has built the new Teleskid. This machine will perform more tasks than any other machine in your fleet. The fully raised pin height is just above 13 feet, with an 8'4" reach with boom extended. It can also dig 3 feet below ground and lift 3,695 lb. with the boom retracted. The fully extended boom can still lift a full 1600 lbs. The cab is large, too, with excellent visibility and operator comfort.
